Intramural sports are a great way to meet new friends and engage in friendly competition, not to mention stay in shape. Intramural flag football season is underway, come out and enjoy the competition! Although the leagues are full already with 18 teams in three different divisions, teams can add players to their roster up until Oct. 26.

Teams usually have at least ten people on their roster, and consist of a maximum of seven players per side on the field at one time. The games take place on a shorter field than normal football; it is 80 yards in length, counting each ten-yard end zone. The field is segmented into three 20 yard blocks, and each team has four downs to reach the next block. Games take place on the intramural fields, just on the other side of the baseball field. On the fields or in the crowd, the exhilaration and passion of intramural sports' is highly contagious; so when go to a game prepare yourself to catch the fever of the Wolves. From the stitch of the ball and the rush of the play to the call of the fans and smell of the field, once you breathe in a game, you're hooked.
