1. What is the hardest thing a new student faces during the first year of college?
A: Finding their voice or a position on campus

2. Why is that so hard?
A: During new student week they are thrown in a lot of different directions and they are introduced to a lot of new activities. All the new information on
clubs and organizations can be overwhelming to a new student.

3. Who is your favorite professor?

A: Oh this is so hard, but if I have to choose one, Dr. Braa.

4. Why is Dr. Braa your favorite professor?
A: He has been the catalyst for me moving into all the positions that I have held on campus. He has definitely impacted my life for the better.

5. What is the main thing you want to accomplish during your presidency?
A: Out of all my goals I would like to increase the representation of students by their student government. And expand ASWOU's voice to make it more visible to the student body.

6. What is one good thing about Western that incoming freshmen might not know?
A: Though Western is small it is probably the best environment for you to grow up in.

7. Why is Western the best environment for students to grow up in?
A: The size of our university allows for more interaction between the faculty and students inside and outside the classroom. This builds Western's community and aids the learning and growth process.

8. What one class would you recommend to students?
A: Soc 225, Social problems. That class deals with how you interact with the people around you.

9. What has your most difficult experience at Western been?
A: My transition from a community college to here. I came here alone and didn't get to what most freshmen here experience so I had to work harder to find my place here at Western.
10. What one thing would you change at Western if you could?
A: I would like students to know more about where their student fees go to. And I would like to find out about where the administrative overhead fee goes.
