With only 10 minutes to go before the 7:30 show was set to commence, students, faculty and community members crowded into Rice Auditorium on Friday, Feb. 26, the ticket line stretching across the noise-filled lobby arc. Within the auditorium, the atmosphere was that of excitement and anticipation as individuals meandered to their designated seats through a thin veil of fog - a tribute to the infamous reefer - and began surveying the arena before them.
"It's a shame when you're living in a city the size of Monmouth, and nobody knows your name…." crooned Rootdown lead singer Paul Wright to the cheers of over 200 students, faculty, alumni and community members filling the Pacific Room Friday night, Feb. 26.
