Eggs, flour, milk… the list goes on and on. Although there are exceptions to every rule as they say, more often than not after finishing freshman year, college students are on their own, providing themselves a roof over their heads and, dare I say it, groceries.
Mission statements-everybody's got them: companies, businesses, religious organizations, departments. Supposedly they exist in an effort to funnel the goal of the organization into a few lines of text, to sum up concisely and as eloquently as possible what exactly it is that group is seeking to do.
Monday, Jan. 25th started off as any other day for me: wake up, go to the bathroom, then drink a glass of chocolate milk while logging onto Facebook to see what was going on in my friends' lives. I grew up in Eugene, Or and so many of my friends go to the University of Oregon or at least still live in Eugene.
